Jubair bin Nufair said:

“When the companions of the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم would meet on the day of ‘Eid they would say to each other:

تَقَبَّلَ اللَّهُ مِنَّا وَ مِنْكَ

(Taqabbal Allahu Minnaa Wa Minka)

‘May Allah accept it from us and from you.’ “
