Support Dawah Projects in Africa
Hudhayfah bin Al Yamaan Islamic Centre (MHbAY) works in partnership with Invitation to Islam (ITI) to build mosques and their associated structures, such as clean drinking water wells, in different countries around the world.
Following the footsteps of the Prophets like; Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammed (may blessings and peace be upon all of them) Invitation To Islam strives to teach people about the worship of the one true God and the correct understanding of Islam. Invitation To Islam has qualified teachers who work primarily in Africa and travel on a monthly basis to remote villages in countries such as Benin, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Togo. By the permission and mercy of Allaah, thousands of people have accepted Islam to date and are provided with ongoing learning and living support by over 100 du’aats!
Support ITI now with your Zakah & Sadaqah and help us build Muslim Communities!
Build Masjids (Mosques)
The masjid is the heart of the community and we aim to build a masjid in a village where a high proportion of the villagers have accepted Islam.
Build Classrooms
We build classrooms for new schools, existing schools or as part of a masjid build. Within the classrooms, both boys and girls are taught a wide range of subjects.
Build Water Wells
We construct water wells to provide clean water to entire villages as well as surrounding villages, where they previously had little access to water.
Qurbani (Sacrifice)
We sacrifice animals at the time of Eid Ul Adha and feed the needy.
Zakah (Giving Alms)
We pass on your zakah to the poor.
Invitation To Islam has:
- Raised over £2,500,000
- Built over 50 mosques
- Built over 100 water wells
- Built schools/classrooms
- Helped over 60,000 people become Muslim
- Fed 1000’s of disadvantaged Muslims
Projects
Build Water Wells
The Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said “The best charity is giving water to drink” (Ahmad).
Build Masjids. Build Communities
Jaabir bin Abdullah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said that the messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said “Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allaah, like a sparrow’s nest or even smaller, Allaah will build for him a house in Paradise.” (Ibn Maajah 738)
Sadaqah
“Those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allaah, and do not follow up their gifts with reminders of their generosity or with injury, their reward is with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.”
(Surah Al Baqarah 2:261-262)
Zakah
“True piety is this: to believe in God, and the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, and the Prophets, to give of one’s substance, however cherished, to kinsmen, and orphans, the needy, the traveler, beggars, and to ransom the slave, to perform the prayer, to pay the zakah.” (Qur’an 2:177)
Invite To Islam (Dawah)
“And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allaah and says, “Indeed, I am of the Muslims.” (Qur’an, Surah Fussilat, Verse 33)
Iftaar (feeding the fasting person)
It was narrated that Zayd ibn Khaalid al-Juhani said: The Messenger of Allaah (blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever gives iftaar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.”
(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 807; Ibn Maajah, 1746)
Build Classrooms
The Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “Allaah, the angels, the inhabitants of the Heavens and the Earth, even the ant in its hole and even the fish in the sea, send blessings upon the one who teaches the people good” (Tirmidhi)
Udhiyah-Qurbani, Sacrifice
Narrated by Anas ibn Malik, the Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “Whoever slaughtered the sacrifice before the prayer, he just slaughtered it for himself, and whoever slaughtered it after the prayer, he slaughtered it at the right time and followed the tradition of the Muslims.”
(Bukhaari 68/454).
Fidyah
This is given when a person cannot fast in Ramadhaan due to an illness which there is no hope of recovery or making up the fast. Also, those of old age who find it difficult to fast. He or she should feed one poor person a day for each missed fast.
… And as for those who can fast with difficulty, (e.g. an old man), they have (a choice either to fast or) to feed a Miskeen (poor person) (for every day).
(Surah al-Baqarah 184)
