Our Mission
Our mission is to establish Hudhayfah bin Al-Yamaan Islamic Centre (MHbAY) in accordance to the Quran and the Sunnah upon the understanding of the Salaf as-Saalih. As the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said in an authentic narration: “The best of mankind is my generation (the Sahabah), then those who come after them (the Taabi’een), then those who come after them (Atba Taabi’een).” [Bukhari & Muslim] The Salaf as-Saalih, or Righteous Predecessors, therefore comprises the first three generations of Islaam who had the best understanding of the religion after the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) himself.
Our Promise
MHbAY will strive to promote togetherness through education, engagement and support. We aim to foster a greater understanding of Allah, the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) and his companions while remaining aware of the needs and demography of the community.
Our Services
At MHbAY we aim to support and engage the diverse community about Islam.
Below you will find a breakdown of the services we aim to provide.
Providing these services is vital for the growth and integration of the community. As well as providing these services to the Muslims in the local area, we aim to have an open door policy which allows us to benefit the broader diverse community.
We firmly believe the best way to deliver these services is to recruit skilled volunteers from within the community itself. The community is rich in professional resource and skill with both Muslim men and women doctors, nurses, lawyers, social workers and business people all contributing to one progressive cause.
